Transformation Time. Tandem tour with the director Uta Bretschneider

Workplaces, self-perceptions, life paths, social interaction, infrastructure - all of these underwent significant changes in the East after the Peaceful Revolution and the Reunification. The permanent exhibition of the Contemporary History Forum devotes ample space to the period of transformation and sheds light on the countless upheavals in people's everyday lives - from new freedoms in travel and shopping to severe ruptures, such as the massive loss of jobs.
