Handschriftenzentrum und Sondersammlungen der Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig: Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen

The Leipzig University Library is one of the most important old stock libraries in Germany. Extensive collections of historical prints, manuscripts, bequests, archives, papyri, ostraka and coins characterize its holdings. At the Leipzig Manuscript Center, projects are being carried out for the indexing and digitization of the occidental manuscript tradition. The event will present the work at the Manuscript Center as well as selected objects from the various special collections of the University Library.
