In a discussion with Prof. Martin Zimmermann, Dr. Lou Bohlen, Minerva-Foundation, and Dr. Julie Grimmeisen from the General Consulate of the State of Israel, will give an overview of the history of German-Israeli academic cooperation, from its difficult beginnings to the achievements and challenges of the 21st century. In addition to numerous German-Israeli funding programmes, different perspectives on the other country will be discussed, which bring German and Israeli scientists together today, or also separate them.
