The great popularity that the digital implementation of the Historikertag is experiencing is overwhelming: only a few weeks after the publication of the programme, we have already exceeded the number of 500 registrations. This is all the more pleasing as it is now clear that the current pandemic-related requirements at LMU Munich do not permit a presence audience. We are therefore pleased to have opted for a digital implementation of the Historikertag at an early stage.

The organising team is making great strides in setting up the conference platform and is looking forward to welcoming all participants there for three months from the end of September. If you have not yet registered, you can do so here All registered participants will receive the link to the conference platform of the Historikertag at the end of September.

And this is what awaits you there: More than 60 exhibitors will offer you a wide range of events during the congress week, virtual presence on the conference platform, exchange opportunities in meeting rooms or in personal contact. A highlight of the exhibition is also the digital library, which presents more than 260 titles from different historical epochs and subject disciplines.

A multi-faceted programme of festive eventspanels and forums is also offered by the organisers of the Historikertag. You can already get in the mood with tips and a programme from the local committee and a digital cimelia-exhibition.

We appreciate any support from academic institutions, media, speakers, trade exhibitors or schools in promoting the Historikertag even during the Pandemic. For this purpose, you are more than welcome to make use of the materials in our Media Toolkit for your websites, newsletters or social media.
