Archival sources are the product of institutionalized interventions, ranging from the creation of records to the selection of those deemed worthy of being archived. During a tour of the reading room, restoration workshop, and archive, the impact of this formation of tradition on the authenticity of sources can be discussed using examples. Basic information about the collections of the Leipzig State Archives completes the program.
