Peter Haber Prize for Digital Historical Studies

Since 2021, the AG Digitale Geschichtswissenschaft in the German Historical Association has been awarding the Peter Haber Prize for Digital Historical Studies together with the German Historical Institute Paris. The prize commemorates the Swiss historian and private lecturer in general modern history, Peter Haber (1964-2013). His scholarly work and commitment have provided important impulses for digital historical scholarship. At Digital History in May 2023, ten to twelve posters were selected by the audience and a jury for presentation at the Historikertag, which will now be creatively presented with a one-minute pitch during the event.
