Fragile Fakten im Stadtarchiv Leipzig

On the trail of fragile facts, Director Dr. Michael Ruprecht leads a tour through the Leipzig City Archive and provides insights into the approximately 13 km of records, more than 350.000 photographs, over 90.000 maps and plans, and 4.000 charters. He introduces the history of the archive, talks about preservation, the challenges of preserving ephemeral digital information for posterity and what archives actually have to do with democracy.
