DESCRIPTION:Since 1991, the Archiv Bürgerbewegung Leipzig has been collecting the testimonies left behind by the GDR-opposition, the citizen movement, the initiatives and parties that emerged in 1989/90, as well as evidence of repressive actions. The archive holdings are part of the non-governmental supplementary legacy to the sources of power. During a tour of the archive rooms, testimonies of courage, civil courage, and repression, as well as the possibilities for researchers to conduct research in the archive, are presented.
